4. Purpose of the collection and processing of data

We process data that you send us as part of your application by online form, e-mail or post confidentially in accordance with the statutory regulations for the protection of your data.

If you apply by online form or e-mail, your data will be automatically transferred to our system.

In the case of postal applications, your documents will be scanned (with text recognition) and the data they contain will be entered into our system. We will return your original documents at the end of the selection process.

Your data will only be used to fill positions within IFTA Ingenieurbuero fuer Thermoakustik GmbH. The responsible employees of our personnel department and the superiors of the specialist departments work together to fill vacancies.

In order to process your application, your contact data as well as the data from your cover letter, curriculum vitae, certificates and other documents submitted by you will be collected and stored in accordance with the statutory time-limits. The accuracy of your data is your own responsibility.

Your data will be deleted after the end of the selection procedure or at your request (see 6. Revocation). Please note, however, that legal retention periods may require the data to be retained until the end of the period. After that, the personal reference of your data and the documents transmitted will be deleted accordingly. Only anonymous data is available for statistical purposes or for documentation obligations. However, this data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you as a person.

In principle, you can change or withdraw your application at any time (see 6. Revocation).

If your application is followed by the conclusion of a contract, your data may be stored and used for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process, in compliance with the relevant legal regulations.

To process your data we use the BITE Applicant Manager, which is hosted by BITE GmbH, Edisonallee 15, 89231 Neu-Ulm, Germany, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement.

In addition, we may use service providers who are strictly bound by instructions and who support us in areas such as IT or the archiving and destruction of documents and with whom separate data processing agreements have been concluded.

A transfer of your data to other third parties is excluded.

5 Our applicant pool

If we do not have a suitable vacancy for you at the time of your application, but your profile leads us to the conclusion that your application could be of interest for future vacancies, we will ask you separately for your consent to store your data beyond the selection procedure and the statutory retention periods.

6. Revocation

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. In this case your data will be deleted in accordance with the legal requirements.

7. Your data protection rights

You have the right to obtain information about the stored personal data relating to you and to correct inaccurate data or have such data deleted if one of the reasons stated in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.

You also have the right to restrict the processing if one of the conditions specified in Art. 18 GDPR applies and in the cases specified in Art. 20 GDPR the right to data portability.

Every person has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if he or she is of the opinion that the processing of the data concerning him or her violates data protection provisions. In particular, the right to appeal may be exercised before a supervisory authority in the EU member state in which the person concerned is staying or working or in which the presumed infringement occurred.

You also have the right to contact our Data Protection Officer at any time.
