Comparison Between Conventional Solutions & the Lean IFTA Solution
Conventional solutions rely on external amplifiers and galvanic isolators to provide the signal from a sensor as a voltage or current signal for data acquisition. Typically, these amplifiers and isolators are supplied by the sensor manufacturers and require their specific power supply and configuration.
Our solution integrates galvanic isolation into the AD4 series input modules. In addition, the AD4Pro even integrates amplifiers for a variety of sensors. This eliminates the need for external amplifiers and isolators and makes the measurement chain much leaner. Sources of error are minimized and costs are saved.
