Embedded Development
Reaching the goal in real time
The main task of the software developers in this team is to design and implement reliable and efficient software for embedded systems. It all revolves around our monitoring and analysis platform that analyzes sensor data in real time and controls systems. This platform is used in every system we deliver. We work with micro controllers, DSPs and FPGAs, develop code in C++ and Python and use modern development tools such as Git and Gerrit. We work closely with our colleagues in electronics development and software application development.
Electronics Development
From signal processing to circuit board design
Our electronics developers conceive and design complex circuits and PCB layouts for the acquisition and processing of sensor data. The team develops prototypes and puts them into operation in continuous cooperation with our embedded development department. It is our aim to deliver innovative and durable hardware, which is always state-of-the-art and meets the requirements of a demanding market. We work closely with our colleagues in sales, manufacturing and support to ensure that we are close to our customers and their needs.
Application Development
With Java, Scala and other languages
Application developers in our company develop innovative software for the visualization and analysis of measurement data - from the first draft to the finished product. High performance of Big Data processing, comprehensive analysis possibilities and intuitive operation are the main features. Our development team uses the programming languages Java and Scala, including powerful development tools (Eclipse-RCP, Akka, Git). We work with agile software development using state-of-the-art methods such as Kanban, Scrum and a continuous integration architecture with automatic regression tests. Particularly exciting is the insight into the measurement technology due to the close cooperation with the hardware development.
Manufacturing & Technical Support
From the idea to the product
We manufacture and support highly specialized measuring system solutions to order. Our production team meets the high requirements of our customers with the precise assembly of systems and the individual configuration of electronics and software. This process includes technical arrangements with our customers as well as testing and final acceptance. That is where everything comes together! As a consequence, this also includes close cooperation with the other departments. Further tasks are the technical support as well as the troubleshooting and repair of systems. Worldwide on-site assignments for commissioning and maintenance complete this varied and technically demanding field of activity.

The challenging and exciting tasks of our sales staff include not only winning new customers and providing support throughout the entire product lifecycle, but also opening up new sales markets.
