Monitoring Vibrations in Engines

For impeccable operation

Combustion engines are one of the most important technical achievements of the last 150 years and, despite the rapid rise of electric engines, are still of great importance. However, combustion engines will continue to be used in many areas today and in the future, primarily because of their high reliability and good scalability. In order to guarantee efficient operation and long-term reliability of the engine, some challenges have to be overcome. This also includes identifying dangerous vibration conditions before long-term damage occurs.

IFTA ArgusOMDS

The IFTA ArgusOMDS as a system solution for combustion engine applications offers the functionalities for diagnosis, monitoring and protection of vibrations. The aim is to maintain the longevity of engines through measures in the development phase or during operation in order to exploit the full potential of engines.
