The Pro­cessor for Real-Time Ana­lys­is

St­able and re­li­able data pro­cessing is the basis/found­a­tion of the IfTA plat­form's suc­cess. A di­git­al sig­nal pro­cessor (DSP) pro­cesses high-res­ol­u­tion vi­bra­tion data in real-time with the IfTA Sig­nalMin­er firm­ware using the so-called Fast Four­i­er Trans­form­a­tion (FFT). This level in the IfTA sys­tem does not re­quire an op­er­at­ing sys­tem and there­fore guar­an­tees 24/7 pro­tec­tion and op­er­a­tion. After a power fail­ure, the DSP starts autonom­ously using the firm­ware and con­fig­ur­a­tion last stored in its flash memory and re­sumes its work after a few seconds.

Guar­an­teed Real-Time Cap­ab­il­ity - IfTA DSP

The IfTA sys­tems are based on a di­git­al sig­nal pro­cessor for sig­nal ana­lys­is. This al­lows the de­term­in­ist­ic runtime of com­mands ne­ces­sary for pro­tec­tion sys­tems with real-time cap­ab­il­ity in in­dus­tri­al en­vir­on­ments. Op­tim­ized al­gorithms en­sure short ana­lys­is times. Spec­tra with up to 6400 lines cal­cu­lated live per chan­nel are the most im­port­ant ex­ample for this. The eval­u­ation soft­ware IfTA TrendView­er can dir­ectly visu­al­ize data pre-cal­cu­lated by the DSP.
