Bavarias State Minister for Digital Affairs, Judith Gerlach, and Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, visited IFTA's booth at the AI.BAY

On February 23 and 24, 2023 the Bavarian AI conference AI.BAY 2023 took place in the Deutsches Museum in Munich. IFTA presented its latest development on AI-based anomaly detection on gas turbines for secure and sustainable power generation. Both Bavaria's Minister for Digital Affairs, Judith Gerlach, and the Bavarian Minister for Economy, Hubert Aiwanger, informed themselves about possible applications of IFTA‘s AI. The international conference very successfully brought together representatives of research and industry. The Bavarian Ministry of State summarized the AI.BAY 2023 as an “impressive showcase of current AI research and glimpse into the future”.

IFTA AI for monitoring gas turbines

Artificial intelligence significantly expands our possibilities in research and technology. Used correctly, it can also have a positive impact on the energy market. IFTA's use of AI-based algorithms to analyze operational information and sensor data will enable even more comprehensive and reliable monitoring of gas turbines. Currently, the new IFTA AI is being tested in various applications. And the trend is clear: IFTA AI detects anomalies faster and more precisely than previously used systems. Thus, predictive maintenance becomes possible, failures and the associated high costs are reduced.
