To enable you to use the software from any desired location, e.g. from a control room or from your own office, Argus Online has a network connection which enables it to receive data distributed across the network by Argus Host. By using the TCP/IP protocol, it is also possible to access Argus Host data over the internet, i.e. from anywhere in the world. The user is also free to use this software directly and locally on the Argus system. Saving data locallyParallel to the Argus Host, data received from Argus Online can be saved on the storage media of each workstation. This makes it possible, for example, for one user to selectively record certain specific events. These data are then available immediately, e.g. for further post-processing in Argus Trend. |
